SM-200 ShatterBox

ShatterBox ring and puck mill is ideal for pulverizing dry, brittle samples and slurry grinding. To use, place your sample between the puck and the wall of the grinding container, place the clamp over the container, then simply set the timer and run the mill. A puck and ring swing around inside a grinding container at a high speed to crush the samples to analytical quality powder. Clamp adjusts to fit various grinding containers. Safety interlock system offers operator safety. A 10-minute timer counts down the time remaining. Press “pause” any time to interrupt the grinding cycle. Order rack 04578-24 to hold one or three small grinding containers (04576-79 and 04576-80) in the chamber.
